My work is something that I’m never not doing. It has taken many turns over the 4 years since I’ve picked up a camera. It’s the art of capturing the mundane and ordinary that interest me more than anything at this point. To be able to look at something and appreciate it for the fact that it represents something bigger is what drives me every day to continue to explore photography.

Often times when the most unnoticeable things are brought together they become something special, something that is appreciated, and something that can be looked at in a different way. That is what captures me the most. The aim in my art at present is to highlight the fundamental components of photography. Components like value, light, form, etc. Allowing them to become the photo instead of letting them make up what a photo is.

Most of my inspiration comes from a higher place, something that is often difficult to explain, but I know it comes from a place of love, and the love that I have for photography is...deep, I don’t think about anything else. I don’t tend to look towards other artists much for inspiration as I’ve learned that what they create is what makes them, them, and what makes you, you, is what comes from within. What I want the viewer to take away is that even the most mundane things can have a purpose for a much bigger picture.
